Aaron Temple – Personally Designed, Custom Prevost Motor-Coach
Prevost Motor-Coaches…”The Ultimate Class”
The strongest, safest and most durable foundations in the motorhome industry. The integrated chassis provides the best foundation for long lasting interior components. The coach is the perfect base, for an elegant, residentially quality finished motorhome.
In 1992, this ultimate touring machine rolled off the line of Canada’s Prevost tour coach facility, to be shipped to Oregon to be finished as a Marathon designed custom motor-coach. Many of these motor-coaches live an exotic life touring with famous musician’s or used by racecar drivers and those who’s life takes them on the road that don’t want to give up the comforts and quality of an elegant home.
The Entertainer reminds us how fortunate we are to be able to drive across America’s borders and explore all the stunning beauty this magnificent country has to offer while not having to give up the quality and comforts of home.
Client: The Entertainer is ideal for those looking for all of the conveniences and storage of a home, in a luxurious custom Prevost bus. The Entertainer was personally designed by Magic Hat Builder’s founder, Aaron Temple. The efficient design and build allows for a lower price point in the market of custom buses. It offers luxurious finishes at an affordable remodeled bus price.
Vessel: 1992 Prevost Bus 40’
Location: The Entertainer made the trip from California to be residing in the Eugene, Oregon vicinity. Originally, The Entertainer was bought from the original owners with only 77,000 miles on it and living most of its life being stored in a warehouse. Our shipper delivered the bus to Las Vegas. It then made the trip to Salt Lake City, Utah to be transformed, with a full renovation completed in 2016. The Entertainer has a new rebuilt engine and is ready for some new adventures! When you show up to the rally’s in this, everyone will want to see inside! This is the first of it’s kind and no one will have seen a remodel that lives and looks like this!
Purpose: Originally a Marathon Prevost bus, bought to be the fulltime residence of the builder, The Entertainer was lived in and toured around with a band for the first year. Upon learning what inefficiencies there were in the Marathon design and tiring of the outdated style, its owner decided it needed to be modernized for an adventure filled and social lifestyle. Like finding a “diamond in the rough” that just needed the excess removed so the natural beauty of the shape of the bus could shine through, a lot of love and learning went in to converting this into a modern vagabonds luxury home. The Entertainer is the name due to how it entertains company with its open floor plan. Due to all of the interest Aaron received from people to have him rebuild a bus for them he was inspired to transition from being a home builder to a custom bus remodeler, Magic Hat Builders. So, this is the Original “Magic Hat”! Come on, step inside and you will be transformed to a life of magical experiences!
Goal: The possibilities were endless with this full remodel. The objective was to build a luxurious home where the “design followed function”. Additionally, the sexiness of the buses natural curves and features such as the copper generator pipe, were features that Aaron wanted to maintain and accentuate. Upon demolishing the original interior, the large curving windows were fully revealed and vast views could now be enjoyed. The loft bed design was designed so that one would be able to see up into the night sky and out across the landscape while lying in bed. The Entertainer provides the opportunity to have the comforts of a residential home and a functional space to use to host friends, make a music video, be a romantic dance floor or just chilling next to the indoor fire pit. After a long day of driving and adventuring, it’s fun to be able to invite all of your new friends over to rock out in your home. The Entertainer has been designed with residential finishes for a durable, luxurious home with the essential amenities, ample storage that makes life comfortable on the road.
Design Highlights: The aesthetic and overall feel of The Entertainer has been referred to be that of a “Sexy New York Loft”. Clean lines, simple, modern, reclaimed barn wood, European style cabinets, luxurious finishes with an open floor plan and large windows, where you can see from the front to the back make this RV feel like your inside is as expansive as the great outdoors! The interior includes marble countertops, hard wood floors, open kitchen, wrap around windows, standard/convection oven, incorporated oversized refrigerator and freezer with ice-maker and a wet bath featuring a Mexican tiles and glass encased shower with residential floating toilet. The custom exterior paint job is a head turner whether you’re going to the races or parked on the oceanfront.
